It all started when we heard the words, “your daughter has cancer”.

After 10 months as a healthy infant, Claire Elliot Parker suddenly became very ill with Infantile Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Within 3 days, we had traveled to 3 different hospitals with only the clothes on our backs. We were left scared and completely unprepared for what was ahead. The next 10 months Claire went through chemotherapy, harsh treatments, remission, relapse, and finally, her complete healing into the arms of Jesus.

In 2015, shortly after launching the Foundation, we welcomed our son Derek Michael Parker into the world. He is an energetic, loving child who shows glimpses of his sister Claire every day. In 2017, his baby sister Sarah Jordan Parker was born. They will never know how much healing they have brought our family.

While our family continues without Claire here, we are all devoted to sharing the blessing she was for us.
